Tools Available to Candidates, Clubs and Districts
Informing voters is critical to winning elections. The Maricopa County Democratic Party has invested in numerous tools that make it easier for you to design messages, small quantity newsletters, flyers, business cards, maintain web sites, prepare bulk-mailings and even create multimedia presentations and podcasts. All of these resources are available for your use by appointment and limited training and assistance is available (meaning we're unable to do everything for you). We support most file formats that work on Macintosh and Windows enviroments.
Because we're not a print shop, we do not have the capacity to handle multi-thousand page work. For that or anything that requires the union bug, we encourage you to consider using one of the commerical printers listed here.

Open Source (e.g. free) Tools
Sometimes, campaigns or clubs can't afford to standardize on commercial software because it's simply too expensive. Fortunately, there are some great free software packages you can download and install on as many computers as you like that are quite good.
Open Office (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database; all Microsoft Office compatible)- Amaya is a Web editor, i.e. a tool used to create and update documents directly on the Web.
- FileZilla is a fast FTP and SFTP client for Windows with a lot of features.
